FIve: Bayamon, Puerto Rico, April 21, 2016
Rail service in Puerto Rico vanished for the longest time but in 2004 it returned with a commuter line called Tren Urbano. The 10.7 mile line runs from Bayamon to San Juan stopping at a total of 16 stations along its travels. I didn't get a chance to ride it and I had only a short time to go find it.
Through Bayamon it travels on a concrete viaduct that parallels highway 2.
A close up of an inbound train crossing Avenue Bobby Capo.

I don't know the details of the guard tower, which can be seen in the center of the photo just below the viaduct. It was there for the parking lot and not for the train. It was also occupied by a young man who kept an eye on all the comings and goings. The parking lot belongs to a mall. To my left in this picture is a Sears.
Here is another shot of of the train crossing Avenue Bobby Capo, which is named after the singer, songwriter and television host.
