Six: Wilmington, Delaware

I know the Bombardier-Alstom HHP-8s weren't anyone's favorite locomotive, but I always loved that worn-soap bar style that hinted at the Acela's but also looked more like a butter dish. I remember a few years back there was a big gaggle of them still in Amtrak colors down in Rhode Island. Now there is a pack of them sitting dead on Amtrak's Wilmington tracks. At least there was last January. I suppose this is more of a static display than a working locomotive, but my affection for them remains and I will count them as this year's Delaware train.
