It was sometime in the mid-1980s. MBTA F-40PH 1000 -- the Henry Hersey -- leads a Franklin-bound commuter train into Walpole station on a hot summer day. I don't remember any of the details of this shot except that I found myself there in the middle of the day. I am guessing it was sometime in 1987. I do know that it was a weekday. At the time I worked as a reporter for the Middlesex News in Milford, Mass. I must have been wandering around.
