A Contrast in Styles

Rensselaer, New York. It is the summer of 2003 and the two sections of the Lake Shore Limited in from Chicago have just split. The larger of the two will head to New York City about 150 miles away and the shorter section is off to Boston, which is about 170 miles away.

This is from a scanned negative. I use a Plustek Opticfilm 7600. It does the job pretty well.
