Acela at Sunset

Acela 2171 (most likely) rounds the sweeping curve at Niantic, Connecticut as the sun sets on the New England coast and Long Island Sound. I was on my way to New York for work and stopped to pause in Niantic. I took a favorite perch at McCook Point to watch the ocean and the trains. The nice thing about this spot is that there is a draw bridge in Niantic. When it is up you can just watch the ferries leaving New London for Long Island, which is easily seen from the shoreline, and when it is down the parade is about to start.
