Two: New York in July

Before we made our trip to PEI and Miramichi, we took a trip to Long Island to see the inlaws. While were there I took a side trip to Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge -- a 2,000 acre wetland along Long Island's southshore. The Long Island Rail Road runs parallel to one of refuge's trails, so I can get a good walk in, see some birds, and take a photo of a train, although it isn't always easy to get a good train photo.

Among the birds I met along the way was this nice Blue Wing Warbler. They are lovely birds and it is alwaya a treat to see one.
