The ends of the earth, or at least as far as Pan Am Railways is concerned. A Pan Am GP-40 317, still in its Guilford colors, idles at Rotterdam Junction, New York at the very end of the railroad's line. Rotterdam Junction is the western most interchange with CSX and the western most point on the Pan Am system.
I had a chance to take an extended road trip this weekend and chose to go to the Albany-Schenectady area. It's been a few years since I was last up there, but it didn't disappoint. I have a lot of photos to post still about my trip, which I will get to fairly soon.
