New Trains to Photograph and Old Trains to Photograph... so much to do!

The first of the new Amtrak locomotives went into service today. Unfortunately I missed the first run. I haven't submitted any photos to Railpace in a long time and it would have been a good one to get.I am pleased to know that there is another piece of equipment to photograph out on the line. Of course this means the older stuff is going to be phased out. I will have to make an extra effort to take as many photos as I can.

Here is an earlier blog post showing the new locomotive on one of its trial runs. I still haven't managed to get one at speed out on the mainline. But tomorrow is another day.
