Buffalo, NY: Feb. 2009

I have been organizing my files and I came across this nice Norfolk-Southern patch job. I took it in Buffalo in 2009.

I like a number of things about this locomotive. First, I liked Conrail. It was a good company and the men and women who worked for it made something great out of a lot of broken parts. Second, I like the look of a well-used locomotive and this one fits that bill. Finally, I like patch jobs. I cannot say why that is.
