Two Years Ago Just West of the Selkirk Yards in New York

Game Farm Road, just west of CSX's Selkirk Yards has been a favorite of mine. It is an easy place to watch trains, hawks, and wildlife of all stripes and sizes. It doesn't hurt that the Five Rivers Environmental Education Center is a short walk away from the grade crossing. The center offers 450 acres of ``fields, forests and wetlands'' that can be hiked. And you never know who you will meet.
