Five Years Ago in New York.

GE passenger locomotives pushing and pulling. A New York bound Metro North train is about to pass a northbound Amtrak train on the Hudson River route just south of Beacon, New York on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007.
I took this one five years ago off the bridge by the station at Beacon -- not the big bridge at Beacon that goes over the Hudson. We met my oldest daughter there for a birthday lunch. She was going to school in New York City at the time. We had lunch at Torches in Newburgh and then went to the Dia, a modern art museum.

I was pleased to get a New Haven-inspired GE unit even if it was pushing its train toward New York.
