Rainy Fall Day in 2008

Acela 2001 comes off the Canton Viaduct on a rainy Nov. 30, 2008. Sometimes it seems like there isn't a lot to love about days like this one. The warmth of summer is gone, the color has left the leaves and rain feels as cold as any snow as it soaks down to the skin. Still part of me can imagine the warmth inside the train and the anticipation the riders have of soon ending their journey in Boston. A photo of a passenger train is the promise of adventure contained.
