I got some comp time today and decided to go exploring close to home. I think I sometimes take for granted what is in my own backyard. (Or a couple of towns over.) In the back of my head I know we are lucky to still have a running PCC line in Boston. I also know that these guys won't be around forever. Yet, I don't spend all that much time photographing them -- in fact, this is just the second time. So, I have decided I will take more photos of the PCCs, and the other equipment on the rapid transit lines as well. Like every other train that is out there today, they won't last forever and at some point I may kick myself for not taking photos when I had the chance.
