I don't remember when I took this one. It was a Friday afternoon in the summer. I used to take the train out to see friends in Springfield. It started out as a hot day in Boston and by the time we got to Springfield the rain was about to start falling. In fact, the rain fell pretty hard right after I took this. Number 87, the Genesis, was pulling the Boston section of the Lake Shore -- the train I came in on. The F unit was on one of the Springfield to New Haven trains. It was a pretty good weekend if I remember but it seems like so long ago now.
